Last night during the Super Bowl, your auntie, you, and me went for a walk. We had eaten so much that we needed to stretch our legs and burn a few calories. We decided to take Chloe, the dog, with us. You insisted on carrying her leash and walking her. Although by the looks of it, she was walking you. You ran to try to catch up with her. The leash got tangled many times in between your legs. I know you were having fun because we could hear the giggles as you trotted down the street. We got about 1/4 the way around the block when Chloe knocked you down for about the fourth time. At that point you got up, handed me the leash, and said, "This is crazy!" Your Auntie and I just about died laughing. It was the cutest thing and the truest use of the word crazy!

Sara Beara Turned 11
Last night was Sara's 11th birthday. She wanted to celebrate at her favorite restaurant, Open Sesame on 2nd Street. So you, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, Sara, and I went and had a delicious Lebanese dinner.
Because we had seven people in out party, we got to sit in this large booth at the back of the restaurant. It was the most adorable little nook ever. There were colorful, decorative pillows lining the whole booth. You sat in the corner next to both Sara and me. You enjoyed lounging and snuggling in those pillows. It was so cute.
You just adore your cousin Sara. Throughout the night, you would pull her down along the pillows and squeeze her close to you.
After dinner we went to a new candy store on 2nd Street. You and Daddy had such a great time picking out lolly pops and whistle pops. You had even more fun eating them. It was a fun night.
Sara Beara, if you are reading this, I hope you had a wonderful birthday. Thank you for letting us celebrate with you. You are a wonderful niece and such a lovely, special person. We are all so lucky to have you apart of our family. We love you!

It's Been a Month! Really?
I can't believe that I haven't posted for a month. It doesn't mean that we haven't been doing things or having fun. It's just that we have so much fun together that I don't have time to write. Last night I took you to Chuck E. Cheeses. You have been begging to go ever since I took you for the first time a couple of weeks ago.
I let you hold on to your cup of money (tokens) and you feel like such a grown up. You are very careful with that cup. You keep it close to you or you tell me to, "hold on to this so no one steals it." I would say you were being a worry wart, but I have seen some kids do some crazy things there at Chuck E.'s house.
The whole time you just run around placing tokens in slots, riding the rides, and playing the games. I just stand back, a shadow, allowing you to do your thing. I am so proud of you that you are independent and brave enough to try new things. I can't believe the baby you once were is now a big kid! It is such a bitter sweet fact. I miss the baby you, but adore this stage in your life. I love you, Mae.
Adorable things you have said or did:
You spent the evening with Grandma and she was going to take you to Dairy Queen. It was getting late so she asked you if you should wear your pj's to the ice cream shop. Your reply was, "That's not going to work."
Almost every night we read a book called The Ten Timid Ghosts (I know it is a Halloween Book, but it is your favorite right now). We have read it so many times you have it practically memorized. Each time I turn the page you know what is coming, "Ten timid ghosts in a haunted house, a witch moved in and wanted them out." I don't even say it with you anymore. You just know that is your part to saw.
Almost every day you tell me and daddy we are your favorite in the whole world. "You're my favorite Mommy in the whole world," or "you're my favorite daddy in the whole world." And we always respond with, "you're my favorite daughter in the whole world." And its true, you are our favorite.
Thank you for bringing joy to my every day life.

On Sunday my side of the family came for our Christmas celebration. Grandpa had to work on Christmas so we decided to move the holiday to Sunday. We had such fun eating yummy prime rib and New York steak, chatting, laughing, and opening presents. Grandma and Grandpa got you a princess dress-up gown with wand, crown, and matching shoes. YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!
We had fun taking family pictures.
Aren’t we silly?
I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Thank you Mom, Dad, Jennie, Dustin, Nolan, Shelby, Jordan, Dustin, Sara, Garrett, and Natalie for such a wonderful Christmas! We love you all!

We have just finished up not one, not two, not even three Christmases…
...but FOUR! On Saturday we had all of Daddy’s side of the family over. Grandma cooked a delicious turkey and brought a honey baked ham. We had a wonderful day talking, laughing, playing games, and eating tons of food. You had a great time playing Barbie’s in your room with Danielle. I hardly saw you at all. You were having such a fun time.
Uncle Scotch was his fun self as always. You were climbing all over him. Look at your happy grin.
You posed for me a bit in front of the fireplace. It took about a hundred shots to get one good one. And I had to bribe you with cookies!! But look how cute you are.
We are so lucky and blessed to have such a fun-loving family. Thank you Sodorff’s, Adnam’s, and Simpson’s for such a lovely, memorable day. We love you all!!!
